Gretchen went above and beyond the call of duty for our wedding ... not only were her designs unbelievably gorgeous and exactly what we wanted, she even helped us manage the grouchy wedding coordinator at the church! Her expert advice, excellent people skills, and limitless creativity - not to mention her warmth of spirit! - make her a true joy. Details of the Day played a huge part in making our wedding an unforgettable day we will always treasure.

The flowers for our wedding were perfect. I brought Gretchen a ton of pictures and magazine clippings, along with some examples of the colors I wanted, and she turned it all into a beautiful series of designs. She even managed to replicate a unique corsage design for the mothers of the bride and groom, based on an example I had shown her. Her designs made the wedding I had always imagined come to life.

As I began to plan our wedding I had a very specific vision I wanted to create, and the flowers were a large part of that. When I met with Gretchen I shared with her pictures of the type of soft, flowing, romantic whites and greens I had envisioned. Details of the Day worked magic! I had a dream of what I wanted my flowers to look like and couldn't find the perfect picture. I found several similar pictures and handed them off to Gretchen Lee and she made my dream! The arrangements were so much more elegant than I imagined! She was so thorough in finding out what I wanted, she gave me other floral options to work with my budget, and on the day of the wedding, she laid everything out beautifully! The amazing gift at the end, besides the dried bouquet, was the sweet sentiment of pictures Gretchen took and mailed to me from the big day. They were the first pictures I had of my special day.
